Ingredients
- 3 ripe nendran bananas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 pinch salt
- Water as needed
- Coconut oil or neutral oil for frying
Preparation
- Peel the bananas and slice each one lengthwise into thin pieces.
- Mix flour, rice flour, sugar, turmeric, and salt. Add water to make a smooth coating batter.
- Heat oil over medium flame.
- Dip each banana slice in batter and fry until crisp and golden on both sides.
- Drain well and serve hot with tea.
