Koorka Koottuthoran

Ingredients 

1.      Koorka and carrot  ( cut in long pieces  -  2 cup

2.      Grated coconut – ½ portion

3.      Onion – chopped –  2

4.      Green chilly  - cut round – as required

5.      Shallots – 5

6.      Turmeric powder  -  ¼ tea spoon

7.      Salt, curry leaves and mustard seed – as required

 

Method of preparation 

Take grated coconut, turmeric powder and shallots and crush it. take a pan. Add oil and heat. Then add mustard seed and allow to splutter. Then add the koorka and carrot , little water and required salt and cook.  When it get cooked add the prepared paste  and onion and mix. Then keep it in stove till the water get drained.  Koorka Koottuthoran is ready.
